Graduation Program Requirements

These program requirements will be used in addition to your document requirements to ensure you are on the right track to graduate. Use these as a reference, and if you need additional clarification please contact your Student Success Advisor by emailing studentservicesteam@ciat.edu.

  • Overall GPA is a 2.0 or higher
    • If you are worried about your GPA being lower, you can use a GPA calculator like this example to see what grades you need to raise.
  • The 150% graduation date has not and will not be exceeded by graduation
    • This date is listed on your enrollment agreement. This represents 150% of the time normally allotted for your program. If your program takes four classes to graduate, and each class is 5 weeks in length, 100% of your program length would be 20 weeks, so you would need to graduate by 150% or 30 weeks.
  • Overall attendance is 80% or higher
  •  All program class requirements have been met
    • If you're unsure of your program requirements, please request a copy of your education plan from your Student Success Advisor.
  • All certification requirements have been met
    • You can find the number of completed certifications required to graduate at this link. Pay attention to the number matching your program - this can be applied to ANY of the certifications associated with a class in your specific CIAT program.
  • Complete Canvas Module Requirements
    • Students will be registered in the Future Graduate Module in Canvas during their last course.
    • Complete the 4-step petition to graduate process in the Canvas module, which includes:
      • Reviewing financials
      • Completing employment verification
      • Scheduling Career Services assistance (if needed)
      • Sharing feedback
      • Updating contact information
